Happy Anniversary Weekend

Friday morning we set out on our first real vacation just the two of us in a long time. We go places all the time but they are usually tacked on the the end of business trip or with friends and family. It was fun to set off just the two of us well three actually Keegan was kicking like crazy all weekend. It was great to spend so much time with my hubs just the two of us. Life gets so crazy and he travels all the time and I work and come home exhausted that sometimes quality time just does not happen. So that's what we had, a long weekend of quality time.
On our way to Savannah we decided to stop by ikea in Atlanta because we do not often find our way over and there was a light I knew I wanted for the nursery. We ended up getting all of the lighting, floor lamp, table lamp and the original pendant lamp. It was all a great price and just what I was looking for. Since I found out that I was pregnant had a boys room planned out. Guess it was my subconscious knowing it was a boy because I was clueless on a girl! After our detour we were back on the road. We got to savannah around 5:30 got checked in and hit River Street.

There was so much to take in and it was all so very old. The rivers edge was so pretty and all the people were enjoying themselves. It was odd because they do not have an open container law so everyone walks around with a drink. There are only a million places to eat. We choose The Cotton Exchange the first night by recommendation of an old friend. It was very yummy with shrimp and grits :) this southern girl loves shrimp and grits

After dinner we made a pit stop at a yummy candy store and I got a caramel apple one of my only craving while I have been pregnant.

We did a little shopping mostly just looking at all the people an taking it all in. We ended up turning in early after a long day of driving. It was a great first day. Day two coming once we are home and I have all the pictures!
