Heaven on earth

Hello from the beach! Actually laying on the beach now soaking in the last little bit of sun before time to go home. It has been a great trip full of good fun friends and relaxation. Just what the doctor ordered! Sean completed his ride yesterday of 75 miles and I was beyond proud of him for this accomplishment. It was so fun to stand at the finish line cheering him in!
My mom and I spent the day on the beach with my Aunt Cindy we went to eat at the yummy Shrimp Basket. I love the beach so much just wish I could bring my own bed down because I did not sleep but I thankfully could just spend my day relaxing away.






I will post race pictures once I get home and put them on my computer.
Tomorrow we have a doctors appointment and we are going to beg to see if we could do an ultrasound. Hopefully he will say yes and we will get to find out the sex of our little bundle of joy!!! So excited I can't wait!

16 weeks

We have made it to 16 weeks!!! Things are going pretty smoothly now most of the sickness is going away and I almost feel human again! I am looking forward to a little vacation this weekend. The hubs is doing a bike ride for MS this weekend so I will be heading down Friday after work to spend some time at my favorite place in the world. I hope to soak up so good sun and eat some yummy seafood. I took my first "baby bump" picture last night I will try to post it sometime this week. There is not too much there and my dad lovingly referred as a beer gut. Sweet I know. Now to watch my 90210 and glee!!

Big News :)

So, I am a terrible blogger but at least I have a good excuse. WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!! We are so excited we are almost 16 weeks along now. The first trimester was a doozy and the so far the second is better but I am still not out of the clear yet. Hopefully soon I will turn that corner. They say that morning sickness or as mine is all day or evening sickness means healthy baby so I will take it! I have started showing a little and it is both very exciting and a very strange thing. It is still not all the way a bump but more bump the fat looking so that is very exciting. That is where I have been and hopefully I can start blogging more to keep up with how things are going and I want to start back being active again. I am already not sleeping so I have been up since 5 am this morning and about to go get ready for a massage so I can't really complain :) Chloe is a bit upset that mommy is up so early cleaning and blogging. She keeps looking at me like you have to be kidding me it is Saturday and you are up why. Oh well baby Keeley is already calling all the shoots. Have a great weekend.  

Boston

The hubs and I spent last weekend in boston. We had such a great time and ate some super fabulous food. Hopefully I can put up some pictures soon. Boston is such a charming city. Even though there is a large population it still has a small town feel with tree lined streets and gas burning street lamps. It was so nice. We will be home this weekend then gone almost every weekend in September so we will take a nice relaxing weekend. I am already ready for Friday to get in some major relaxing time.

Weekend DIY

I have been trying to get my house together for a tea I am having this coming weekend. In the process I decided that I needed a table runner. So I went to Hobby Lobby and bought some fabric. Now keep in mind I have not sewn in about 15 years. My old sewing machine is broken so I borrowed one. Then I began the adventure. Over all I am pleased with how it turned out. I learned a lot and may redo it sometime in the future. I had never done a ruffle before but it was supper easy. Everything In my house is going to have a ruffle on it! Here is the finished product.

Come august...

Lots of changes are taking place in my life right now. First off I'm going to be going to a new classroom in August. I am beyond excited. I can't wait to see what's in store. I feel like myself and the other teacher will work well together and can be a team. I think that's the best for everyone when you are a team. I'm ready to really see what I can do. It is not the position I was hoping for come august but I am happy with it now.
I have also been contemplating go back to school. I know it's in my plans it's just a matter of when. I want to learn more about my field just not sure when to make it happen. I would also love to one day go to a school system so when we have kids I could have their same vacations. I hope God shows me the way soon.

Life

Life has gotten in the way of the blog. Everything has been going well, not hitting the gym as much. I have also be out of town so much I spend my weeks recovering from my weekends. Kind of backwards.
This past weekend I had the pleasure of celebrating with a good friend Laura at the beach for her bachelorette party. We had a blast but I did not bring my camera so I have no pictures from the weekend. The weather was perfect could not have asked for better. It was a good time with lots of girls to let our hair down.
This weekend we are headed up to my dads on the lake to have some forth of July fun! I can't wait for another long weekend. I am ready to grill out and enjoy the sun with a good book.
